[SMM Lead Midday Review: Downstream Maintains Just-in-Time Procurement, Refined Lead Transactions Performed Poorly Today] SMM, March 17: Today, the SMM 1# lead average price increased by 75 yuan/mt compared to Friday, reaching 17,375 yuan/mt. Due to poor transactions, secondary refined lead suppliers expanded ex-factory discounts, with mainstream supplies quoting discounts of 100-75 yuan/mt against the SMM 1# lead average price.

Today, the SMM 1# lead average price increased by 75 yuan/mt compared to Friday, reaching 17,375 yuan/mt. Secondary refined lead suppliers, due to poor transactions, expanded ex-factory discounts, with mainstream supplies quoted at a discount of 100-75 yuan/mt to the SMM 1# lead price. Today's ex-factory quotes for tax-free refined lead in the market were at 16,300-16,400 yuan/mt. Downstream battery producers maintained restocking based on rigid demand, while refined lead transactions performed poorly today.
